Pinta BAphoto is currently the most prominent art fair in Latin America specializing in photography. Based in Buenos Aires, the fair has established itself as an undisputed reference point for photography, providing a meeting space for artists, curators, specialized critics, collectors, and an increasingly broader audience. Since its inception in 2005, Pinta BAphoto has worked to promote the development of photography within the artistic field and to highlight its value on an international level.

The Special Project of Pinta BAphoto, curated by Irene Gelfman, presents Cuatro piezas clave (Four Key Pieces), an installation by Cecilia Lenardón that pushes the boundaries of the photographic image, bringing it closer to the idea of a living, mutable, and exhaustible thing. Lenardón explores a vitality that arises from constant transformation, far from any fixity, challenging the traditional concept of the image to open new perceptual horizons.

Since 2015, Francisco Medail has been the face of the Artist Tribute section. A program that recognizes the careers of photographers who actively contributed to the field of Argentine photography, with the aim of recovering and highlighting their significance within local history.

Video Project is the section of Pinta BAphoto exclusively dedicated to moving images. In its eighth edition, the central theme is the notion of territory, explored through projects that expand its physical and conceptual materiality.
